With taxpayer funding, public watchdog scrutiny and exacting specifications, governments have the highest standards and expectations. PEI has provided and continues to provide high quality, economical pavement design, pavement evaluation and pavement management services for dozens of cities, counties, local, state and federal government agencies.
PEI manages all public projects “hands on” through every step. We work closely with each agency to make sure its project team is informed and confident that projects are managed prudently and honestly with an eye for detail and unsurpassed professionalism. Our goal is to maximize public assets while minimizing costs and always ensure a quality long-lasting project.
Our investigation, management and design services conform substantially to the design concepts and generally accepted practices provided by federal, state, county, and city governments. We have extensive experiencing working with and can provide services based on recent Caltrans specifications for QC/QA, standard and method processes, Greenbook specifications and Federal agency specifications, including the Federal Highway Administration. We also adhere to ASTM and CTM standards.
